privacy
in short
This website has no forms, no accounts and no advertising. It doesn’t use cookies, and it doesn’t track you or identify you.
We count visits anonymously so we know how the site is used, and we only receive personal information if you choose to email us.
who we are
Held By Grace, founded and run by Grace McPheators, is responsible for the information described here. You can contact us at hello@heldbygrace.co.uk.
if you email or message us
Emails to our heldbygrace.co.uk addresses are forwarded by our domain provider, Squarespace, using its email service, Mailgun, to Grace’s Microsoft inbox. We use what you send only to reply to you, because you asked us to. We don’t share it unless you ask us to or the law requires it, and we delete emails once we no longer need them.
If someone else can see your email, they may be able to read messages you send us. You might want to use an account only you can access, or delete the message from your sent folder. Please don’t include details you’re not comfortable sharing; we’ll never ask for more than you want to give.
If you message us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp, part of Meta, and are end-to-end encrypted. Anyone who can open your phone may still see the chat, so consider deleting it if that’s a risk for you.
We can’t respond to urgent messages. If you are in danger, call 999, or see find support.
hosting and visitor statistics
The website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, its servers briefly process technical information such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you. It tells us things like how many people visited, which pages they read, the country they visited from and the website that sent them. We use this to understand whether the site is helping people, which is in our legitimate interests.
Vercel is based in the United States, so this information may be processed outside the UK, with the safeguards UK data protection law requires.
your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. Email hello@heldbygrace.co.uk.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
changes
We’ll update this page if anything changes. Last updated: 15 October 2026.
